Course Introduction
This is Part 2 of the AIOps/NetDevOps learning path, designed for learners who have completed the Python foundations course. It explains classic protocols used in network automation and implements them with Python. Starting with Scapy (Kamene in earlier course materials) and network utility modules, it covers ARP, ICMP, UDP, SNMP, Syslog, TCP, Telnet, SSH, FTP, SMTP, POP3, LDAP, and traffic analysis with NetFlow, Scapy, and PyShark. The course combines packet structures, packet capture, socket programming, and automation labs, with in-depth practice on the seven SNMP operations, MIB, SNMPv3, InfluxDB/Grafana visualization, plus Paramiko, YAML, Jinja2, Netmiko, TextFSM, and pyATS.
